Ciao ragazzi! I haven't been here for a long time, but I'm working on my XRD all the time. Lately i have put some new wheels on. This is how my diesel looks like - the 205 XRD summer edition

Fresh & clean. 13 inch Rallye wheels. 5,5 J, ET18, tyres Yokohama A Drive 165/70 13.

Hey! The 205's were offered in Poland from 1990-1991, when the capitalism started. Before we had no official dealers, thanks to our communist government so most of the 205's that we have in Poland, are imported from Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, etc...

My XRD is a German version. It was sold in October 1987 in Dortmund. The car came to Poland 20 years later in 2007, and yes - I have to say it has a lot of extras, like electric windows, panoramic sunroof, central locking, and a nice metalized silver paint.

BTW: don't you know what is the name of the paint? I don't have the paintcode symbol on the car anymore...

The sporty look - well that was the plan. I didn't like the ordinary style of the XRD. Boring steel wheels, no spoilers... Now it looks better. But I'm not going to make it look like a GTI. It will mostly stay just as it is.

Voilla!

The car has left the paintshop today morning.

This is how the Diesel "Rallye" project looks like at the moment.

It has automatic bonnet, front Rallye spoiler, and rear from GTI. Also the whole paint has been polished and waxed, and all the rust have been removed.
The operation took 10 days, and cost me about 400 euro.
